Commercial passenger transport operators must be able to depend on excellent safety. To ensure that you and your passengers can have complete confidence in the Caravelle, numerous safety features are offered. The Caravelle is highlighted by high build quality, a torsionally rigid body, and a comprehensive safety system.

A driver’s and a front passenger airbag are standard; side airbags and curtain airbags are available as options. The standard control systems: electronic stabilisation programme (ESP) including brake assist system; anti-lock brake system (ABS); electronic differential lock (EDL); traction control system (TCS); and engine braking control (EBC*) help the driver in critical situations on the road.

In conjunction with a tow bar, trailer stabilisation helps to keep the trailer under control in dangerous situations. The hill holder available as an option prevents the vehicle rolling backwards when driving off on slopes.
