Nissan X-Trail

Shift to real driving

The X-TRAIL isn’t just extremely capable – it’s also intuitive, intelligent, and innovative. And equipped with the essentials for life’s adventures, like ALL MODE 4x4-i and the latest features in comfort and convenience.

ALL MODE 4x4-i system

X-TRAIL is the first 4x4 in the world with ALL MODE 4x4-i – a system so sophisticated it can even predict when you’ll need extra traction. Turn the knob from 2WD to AUTO and X-TRAIL analyses the terrain as you drive, providing precisely the right amount of torque to each wheel. Switch to LOCK when facing tough off-road terrain. ESP keeps you in control on all the corners. ALL MODE 4x4-i even makes hills easy to tackle: DDS (Downhill Drive Support) keeps the car at a controlled speed without braking, while USS (Uphill Start Support) ensures X-TRAIL drives smoothly away on a steep slope, without rolling back.

Bluetooth system

Easier and safer: buttons on the steering wheel control your Bluetooth® phone, linking it to the car’s audio system without even having to take it out of your pocket.

Intelligent rear view camera

Available on Sport eXpedition and Aventura eXplorer models, X-TRAIL’s rear view camera automatically engages when you go into reverse. Two lines move with your steering wheel angle to help you park with precision. With the rear bumper edge always visible plus static lines for judging distance, it’s easy to see how much room you have.

Advanced Birdview navigation system

Available on Sport eXpedition and Aventura eXplorer models X-TRAIL’s Birdview DVD navigation system eliminates guesswork in 28 European countries: At intersections, it shows both a 3D road view and a map view of your route. With the Voice Recognition System, you can control it simply by speaking.

Four powerhouses to choose from

X-TRAIL’s thrilling new engines offer four ways to get you going: two petrol and two diesel models. The petrol 2.0 l 141 HP version is all new, while the 2.5l engine has been dramatically improved to generate 169 HP. The 2.0 l diesel models use up-to-date dCi technology to generate 150 or 173 HP. Both have environmentally friendly DPF Particulate Filters, so you can use all that torque with a clear conscience.

6-speed transmissions

X-TRAIL’s power is efficiently managed by a range of 6-speed manual transmissions. 6-speed manual is standard on all engines. There’s a remarkable new 6-speed automatic transmission with the 150HP diesel engine, or you can opt for the CVT featuring a 6-speed lock on the 2.5 l 169HP petrol engine.

Cruise control

Sit back and enjoy the ride. Cruise control takes the strain out of long distance driving and lets you concentrate on what’s happening on the road, making driving safer and so much more comfortable. Cruise control is standard on the SE grade.
